Christina R. Sinclair, PhD
Therapy for Children, Teens, Young Adults & Families
Welcome

Today you are one step closer to making a positive change for yourself or your family.

As a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help children, teens and young adults uncover their true potential and lead lives that are more enjoyable, peaceful and worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your child's life or within your family system. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding your child or teen back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life, as well as support a shift in emotional and behavioral expression that will allow the individual's true strengths and positive nature to thrive.

If you are a parent looking for assistance in coping yourself with troublesome behaviors of your child or teen, I offer parent support and guidance to help encourage a more positive and loving relationship between child and parent.

If you are a young adult looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or transition, or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

I believe everyone has the ability to change and improve, and I hope to share in you or your family's positive journey towards growth, well-being and empowerment.

Please call or email me for an individual or family therapy consultation today.

My Current Groups Include:

Children's Anxiety and
Worry Reduction
(ages 7-11)

Does your young child struggle
with worries, unrealistic fears,
perfectionism or social avoidance?

My 8-session group can help
reduce daily anxiety, complaints
of feeling "sick" (due to somatic
symptoms), and allow your
child to feel more
in control of his/her worries.

Teen Depression and
Self-Harm Reduction
(ages 14-18)

Adolescents appear to be
struggling more and more with
how to manage powerful and
often negative emotions.

If your teen is choosing unhealthy
ways to cope with feelings, they
may benefit from my supportive
and directive group that
encourages active skills practice
and behavioral change.
